A budget of over Tk 6 crore and 13 lakh has been approved at the syndicate meeting of the Rajshahi Medical University (RMU) for the year 2018-19.
The budget was approved at 11am on Sunday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University of Shaheed Dr. Milon Hall in Dhaka.
Professor RMU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Masum Habib, also president of the Syndicate, presided over the meeting.
Besides, the syndicate has approved the committees’ own monograms and post-Basic Nursing Examination Committee.
Professor Dr. Masum Habib said Tk 4 crore 13 lakh of the budget will be available from the University Grants Commission. The remaining two crore taka will be earned from the university's own source.
Rajshahi Medical University Registrar Muhammad Salahuddin Siddique conducted the meeting.
