Road accident kills 4

Four people were killed and eight others wounded when truck overturned in front of Balukhali customs office in Ukhia upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Monday morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Ukhiya Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Nikaruzzaman Chowdhury said a bamboo-laden truck turned turtle on the road after its driver lost control over the steering while overtaking and rammed into two human haulers and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw, leaving four people dead on the spot and eight others injured.
The wounded were admitted to Ukhiya Upazila Health Complex and Sadar Hospital.
