It's high time to flame the healthy argument for Tigresses betterment

By the last two decades Bangladesh become single-sport country and that is cricket. Things didn't happen overnight. The football crazy nation shifted their loves gradually towards the cricket for some fairytale achievements. Men's cricket gone so far with too many individual records along with team triumphs but things can't cross the finger lines.
Best ever international achievement is the semi-final of the ICC Champions trophy 2017, who also trembled many a cricket forces position by reaching the quarter final of the latest cricket world cup in Australia in 2015.
They played final in several international tournaments including Asia cup, Nidahas trophy and multi-national tournaments but failed to grip the golden plates.
Their female counterparts, on the other hand, stepping into international cricket less than one decade ago, blessed with handful of successes. They creep less but make their bone strong enough weighing international heavy titles.
They wrote their name on three consecutive international trophies, is the best ever international achievement for Bangladesh from any point of view.
The first of the 'three in three' begins with the attainment of the crown of the 7th ACC Women's Asia Cup 2018 in June beating mighty India, who clinched bilateral series against Ireland by 2-1 margin followed by the title of the ICC World T20 Qualifier 2018 couple of days back.
Tigresses, thus, will play against defending champion Windies, England, South Africa and Sri Lanka in Group-A in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2018, who are expecting to roar more loudly in the Caribbean Islands in November this year.
The new head coach of Tigresses Anju Jain chalked out her plan to ESPNcricinfo recently. She indicated to raise Tigresses' ranking position, who said, "Our target is to ensure that we don't have to play the qualifiers anymore."
However, who gave much to nation, must deserve more from the country. It's their right. But scenario goes with sweat and tears. In a previous report of daily observer it was mentioned that the income and lifestyle of all the girls including Salma and Rumana are being maltreated, specially in terms of remuneration.
In the report, it was also find no better spirit from Bangladesh cricket authorities since BCB president suggested not comparing them with Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiq, Riyad. But he assured nothing regarding the betterment of the Tigresses.
No matter how much Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiq and Riyad are being paid, what they are bringing home but the subject lies regarding the acknowledgement for the champion girls.
Star names of international cricket, who representing Bangladesh failed till date to claim any trophy but are obvious plaintiff for trophy, and must come with title today or tomorrow.
But who already made it big, should they not be treated as they deserve? It is necessary not for their achievements only, rather to make more bright names in future to flatter red and green flag more high in international cricket and to bring more women cricket potentials under national cap breaking orthodoxy thinking regarding future and acceptance of women athletics in Bangladesh.
