Int'l Swimming Federation Foundation Day
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Nizamuddin Ahmed, OSP, BCGM, ndc, psc had left for Switzerland to take part in the 110th foundation day of the International Swimming Federation there.
Navy chief boarded a Tuesday night flight from the Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport and Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) and Naval Administrative Authority, Dhaka were present there to see him off.
The foundation day programme of International Swimming Federation will continue till July 20 in Lausanne, Switzerland and Bangladesh CNS will participate in different programmes in this regard. He will meet higher officials of Switzerland swimming authority and other countries.
Finishing the Switzerland tour, Navy chief will go to Germany to see the progress of the under constructed Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA), also known as maritime reconnaissance aircraft, for the Bangladesh Navy.
