It was discovered that some of the militants at the den were connected to the planning of the Holey Artisan attack while others were planning more attacks on areas densely populated by foreigners in Dhaka and Narayanganj, police said. "They had almost finished their preparations for three simultaneous attacks in Dhaka and Narayanganj. We found out that they had already rented a place in Narayanganj to carry out the attack," the sources said.

So far, in the investigation, we have not been able to confirm their involvement. "We have, however, found the involvement of Sohel Mahfuz alias Hatkata Mahfuz who was arrested. He was shown arrested in the case of the Kallyanpur incident and the court has granted us a fresh three-day remand period to question him further," said CTTC sources.

They are Tamim Ahmed Chowdhury (who was the mastermind of the Holey Artisan attack and was killed in the Narayanganj militant den), Rakibul Hasan Rigan, Iqbal, Ripon, Khalid, Mamun, Manik, Junayed Khan, Badal, and Azadul alias Kabiraj.
