Journalists of Rajshahi organized a human chain on Saturday in protest of beating journalist and demanding arrest the attackers immediately.
Rajshahi Union of Journalists President Kazi Shahed presided over the program at Aluptati Bangabandhu Chattar.
Acting general secretary of the organization Saifur Rahman Rocky addressed the human chain, Jabed Apu, members of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, Sharif Suman, RUJ Vice-President, Azizul Islam, General Secretary of Rajshahi Metropolitan Press Club, Ali Yunus Hridoy, General Secretary of Rajshahi University Reporters’ Unity and Shamsunnahar Sweety, Rajshahi College Reporters Unit President also spoke on the occasion.
Mamun-or-Rashid, Vice President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, Dulal Mahbub of Rajshahi Union of Journalists, Executive Member Mizanur Rahman Tuku, National Press Club Member Bulbul Ahmed, members of Rajshahi Union of Journalists, Rajshahi University and members of Rajshahi College Reporters Unit were present.
