School peon found dead 4 days after going missing

A man was found dead in the Naf River in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Thursday morning, four days after he had gone missing.

Deceased Abdur Rashid, 40, was a peon at Hoyaikong Ali Asia High School in the upazila, said Teknaf Model Police Station officer in-charge Ranjit Kumar Barua.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body in a sack with IOM logo from sluice gate of Unchhiprang Canal around 11:00am, said the OC.

Earlier on Sunday, peon Rashid went missing.
