AB has been transformed to the next stage which is unseen. But I am sure, his experiments with music for his next musical album has begun. Perhaps his next concert is planned for legendary rock stars residing in the other world. We will never know.

Death takes no bribes, and even when the legendary rock star Ayub Bachchu (AB) offered his next album for a few more days to live, death rejected his offer. Perhaps, the rock maestro will release his next album for the next world, but unfortunately we won't be blessed to dance to his magical guitar tunes, drumbeats lyrics, and rhythm. He would have completely different audience this time.AB was meant for re-invent and re-introduce Bangladesh band songs in a different mould, and he has done it brilliantly. He took the entire local rock industry to newer heights, but more than that he inspired the emerging rock bands of the 90's to give the Bangladesh music industry a separate identity. Remember that unforgettable line of Shei Tumi - Cholo Bodle Jai.
The local music industry he has definitely changed for the better - but sadly he couldn't change the hidden pain, agonies and resentment within.
For about 13 years, up until the formation of his own band LRB, AB's music career was pretty much defined. But when LRB released its first album as a double album, with rock songs like Ghum Vanga Shohore, Madhobi and Hawker Sesh Cithi keno amon Cithi hoy, Happy and Dhakar Sondha.
Song composing, music to the dynamics of rock songs in this country suddenly experienced a sweeping shift in nature.
Needless to mention, LRB's - Cholo Bodle Jai, is one of the greatest hits in Bangladeshi music history - both written and tuned by Bachchu.
From a technical standpoint, AB introduced guitar solo as an integral part of Bangla rock music. It hugely inspired the future rock bands to focus exclusively to turn the lead guitar into a prominent instrument.
However, AB is gone forever. But he has left behind a potent rock legacy in this country. Now he has played the ball as well as he could, it's in our court today. It's up to our today's rock bands to play it.
Lastly, legends never die, they transform from one state to another. AB has been transformed to the next stage which is unseen. But I am sure, his experiments with music for his next musical album has begun. Perhaps his next concert is planned for legendary rock stars residing in the other world. We will never know.
