Day labourer found dead

Police recovered the body of a day labourer from Gangni upazila of Meherpur district on Monday.

Deceased Abdul Mazid alias Fahim,30, son of late Ishaq Pramanik, hailed from Manikdia Madrasa Para in the upazila.

Local people spotted the body at a field of Manikdia this morning and informed police.

Gangni police OC Harendranath Sarkar confirmed the matter.

Family members said Fahim went out of the house on Sunday evening. But, he did no return home at night.
