7 hurt in post-polls violence in Rangpur

Seven people, including two women, were injured in post election violence at Chapra village in Pirgachha upazila of Rangpur district on Monday afternoon.

Ward no. 1 member of Kandi Union Parishad Mithu Mia said a clash ensued between the supporters of Awami League and BNP-Jamaat over Sunday's election, leaving seven people injured. ...........

Among the injured, Atoar Mia, 40, Sakina Begum, 28, and Nasiran Begum, 26 were admitted to Pirgachha Upazila Health Complex.
