Women’s participation in science reduce social restrictions: Dipu moni

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Friday said our country is going to be advance constantly for science education but till now we have lack of research laboratory.
Women's participation in science education reduces the social restrictions that women usually face in the country.
She came up with these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of 9th chemistry Olympiad organised by Bangladesh chemical society at Dhaka University's (DU) curzon hall premises
She also said, "Ruling government spacially emphasized on education sector. Bangladeshi students are upholding our country's position in the world by attending science olympiad".
"A total of 13000 students attend this Olympiad from whole country." Dipu Moni added.
She urged everyone to make opportunity of women's participation in science and to make science-friendly society.
President of Bangladesh chemical society Md. Abdul Karim presided over the program while convener of 9th Olympiad Prof.  Dr. Md. Owahab Khan gave welcome speech.
Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA) president A K Azad, chairman of city group Fazlur Rahman and chairman of Meghna group Mostofa kalam also addressed in the ceremony as a special guest.
