Angelina Jolie visits Rohingya camps

The UNHCR special envoy and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie visited  Rohingya camps in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar on Monday afternoon.

Jolie reached Chamarkul area at about 2pm and visited a number of camps where she talked to Rohingya women who fell victims to the atrocities including rape committed by the Myanmar military.

Earlier at 10:30am, the Academy Award winning actress and humanitarian reached Cox's Bazar on a two-day visit to see the UNHCR activities.
Jolie is likely to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen before leaving Dhaka on Wednesday.
