Non-MPO teachers formed human chain in Meherpur

Teachers of non-MPO educational institutions in Meherpur formed a human chain on Tuesday demanding inclusion of their institutions under the government's Monthly Pay Order (MPO) scheme.

The programme was held in front of the district Press Club around 11.00am.

Chaired by Non-MPO Educational Institutions Teachersâ€™ and Employeesâ€™ Federation vice-president AKM Alimuzzaman, the programme was addressed, among others, by the federation's Meherpur district unit president Abul Kalam, general secretary Abdul Karim and vice president Sadekur Rahman.
