Gopalganj road crash kills woman

A woman was killed and four people were injured in a road accident in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Shamsunnahar Begum, 55, wife of Md Akram Ali Sheikh, from Faridpur district.

A private car hit hard a road side tree after its driver lost control over steering in Tilsora area around 11.30 am, leaving its passenger Shamsunnahar dead on the spot and four others injured, said police.

Md Azizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kashiani Police Station, confirmed the matter.
