Rajuk chair, table also corrupt: Saiful Haque

Revolutionary Workers ' Party of Bangladesh general secretary Saiful Haque said chair and tables of Rajuk also corrupt let alone its officers and employees.

Rajuk officers approved all risky multi-storied building in exchange for bribe, so how would multi-storey buildings comply with the building code, he asked.

He said this during a protest in front of the National Press Club organised by Left Democratic Alliance on Monday presided over by Bangladesh Socialist Party (BASAD) co-ordinator Bozlur Rashid Firoz.

Saiful Haque said the city people are being pushed to death by Rajuk. Rajuk authorities should be brought under trial on charge of the deaths.

He also said Rajuk authorities staff have built mountain of illegal assets. Their asset should be audited properly, and published within next 15 days.

He demanded resignation of WASA MD and others who gave false and misleading statements about water of WASA.
