Piickme Intercity service launched

Piickme on Thursday launched its Intercity service in an aim to on-demand ride sharing service to and from Dhaka, Naryangonj, Savar and Gazipur at an attractive price.

Piickme users can start availing this service from May 2, said a press release.

In addition to the existing ride sharing service inside Dhaka city, Piickme is working to expand its service map to many other areas to serve well-organized and affordable rides.

Owned by a Bangladeshi entrepreneur Omar Ali Raj, Piickme started its journey on September in 2018. It facilitates motor bike and car ride sharing service at this moment.

Omar in a statement said, “Piickme since its inception has emphasized more on quality than the ride quantity. We are always focused on sustainable as well as compliant service. We are working with law enforcers also to raise road safety awareness.”

This intercity service is just a starting but we have a long way to go with the help of all stake holders, he added.

Piickme director Meskat Hossain, COO Amit Chakrabortty, head of operations Aslam Ali Khan, sr. business operations manager Shariful Islam Tareq and other top officials, among others, were present in the ceremony.
