FBCCI delegation off to Japan

A 51-member business delegation, led by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) president Sheikh Fazle Fahim, left Dhaka for Tokyo in Japan on Tuesday to expand bilateral trade between the two countries.

The business leaders will extend their efforts for bilateral trade development and seek more Japanese investments in the country during a meeting with the leaders of JapanExternal Trade Organization (JETRO), said a press release.

The FBCCI leaders will also attend meetings with the business leaders of Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) and the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI).

The FBCCI delegation is expected to return on June 2.

Meanwhile, Rubana Huq, President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Nihad Kabir, President of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) are also visiting Japan as the delegation members, reports UNB.
