Japan for Rohingya repatriation within short time

Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono on Tuesday laid emphasis on Rohingya repatriation process within a short period.  

Rohingyas are huge burden for Bangladesh, said Kono adding that the global leaders should cooperate Bangladesh to reduce the burden on the country.
He told journalists while visiting Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar in the morning. Kono led a 12-member team and visited several camps in Ukhia upazila.

During his visit, the Japanese Minister heard the tales of persecuted Rohingyas who fled atrocities in Myanmar’s Rakhine State after August 25, 2017.

The Japanese Foreign Minister arrived in Dhaka on Monday night on a three-day visit.
