Hasan Masood returning after three years with first Indian film

Hasan Masood known as Hasan bhai is a popular TV actor of Banglades. He has primarily agreed to work in a movie of Kolkata after a three years break. A film director of Kolkata named Devraj is making this movie based on a story of Sukumar Ray, a leading writer of children's fiction in the sub-continent. Devraj first made the proposal to Hasan as he became interested in him after watching his acting projects on YouTube. The final agreement will be signed when Devraj would visit Dhaka next month. If everything goes well, this would become his first Indian film. Rest of the casts and other related members of this film will be taken from Kolkata.
Hasan Masood debuted into the film industry with Dhallywood film Bachelor. He also acted in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's Made in Bangladesh. At one time he worked in a lot of TV drama. But due to personal issues he has not been acting since 2016. He says that he became exhausted because of the tight schedule of shooting so he wanted a break. Sanjida Shimul, wife of Hasan, has founded a school at Niketon in the city. He is the acting chairman of this school.
The 57-year old actor joined the military in 1983 and was promoted as second lieutenant in 1985. He retired as captain in 1992 and then took up journalism before joining the TV drama industry.
