Suicide: A social disorder

Suicide means to kill me or sacrifice myself. That is to say, it is to die voluntarily. The person who commits suicide is called self-murderer. Men and women of any age can commit suicide. It is a social disorder and none of us is free from its direct or indirect impact.
Suicide is considered a crime in many countries of the world, just as many countries have legalized it too. Suicide is a great sin in Islam. Regarding the dire consequences of suicide, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sm) said, "The person who commits suicide by throwing himself from the top of the mountain will always jump in hell and throw him in it. Anyone who commits suicide by drinking poison will continue to drink poison in his hand all the time in hell. And whoever commits suicide with a sharp weapon, he will have the sharpest weapon in hell, with which he will always cut his stomach". Therefore, it is understood what way self-murderer slays himself will be punished the same way in hell.
It is a universal truth that man is mortal. Everyone has to taste death. He has to leave the earth. So, does anyone want to die voluntarily? Nobody wants it. He wants to live a thousand years among human beings. So, what cause does a man push to die? What happens is that living on earth causes him pain? Does he choose a suicidal act to escape from unbearable suffering? There are various reasons behind that. If we analyze these, some common and special reasons appear before our eyes.
Trauma is a key cause of suicide. It can come from a person, family or society. Even it can come from different stages in your career. When patience and sufferance strike beyond bounds, he chooses to commit suicide. The news of sexual abuse in newspapers means a severe blow to a woman's self-esteem. This is why many women think they are untouchable in society. In family and society, they lose their courage to show face. But it is seen that she is not responsible for this. Then they do not want to live with the humiliation of disgrace. They think suicide is the only way to escape from tarnation. Every year, many men and women commit suicide because of sexual abuse.
Depression makes a person's life miserable. It weakens the power of human thinking. As a result, he/she looses good and evil knowledge. To get rid of depression, he engages in immoral activities. Even then she or he does not get rid of depression. What else to do? He associates suicide.
The Dowry system is one of the major causes of suicide. We often hear of wife torture due to dowry. Not only the wife but also her parents are humiliated in various ways. When the wife sees that she has no place in her husband's house or her father's house, or she is grossly been neglected, she chooses to commit suicide.
Drugs and drug addicts are like mosquito coils and fire. If a drug addict becomes a mosquito coil, then the drug will be fire. It slowly exhausted the drug addict. If a drug addict suddenly stops taking the drug, then various problems act in his body. If he doesn't get money, he may fail to control himself. Without getting anyway, many commit to suicide. So, everyone has to be careful with the drug.
The good relationship gives birth to heavenly feelings but people feel hell-fire in separation. They have no apprehension in separation. Separation may be between husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend or two beloved persons. In today's society, separation is a major disorder. Many people think suicide is the best expedient than burning in separation. Moreover, phone sex is another responsible for the suicide. When Phone sex becomes viral, many men and women committed suicide for fear of public shame and humiliation.
Every year, many talented students are coming out of different educational institutions with degrees. Very few of them get jobs as like as their choice. Many people cannot even obtain minimum employment for their livings. Many are ashamed to show their faces. As a result, they suffer from depression. Ultimately, they think death is the best way to break the unemployment of disgrace.
Medical science says that suicide is an important symptom of mental depression that encourages a person to commit suicide. It has been identified as a mental illness. But proper treatment can prevent this problem easily. Also, the factors that lead a person to suicide are mostly responsible for loneliness, fear, disrespect, deception, degradation of moral character, social degradation.
The seeds of the solution are the reasons for suicide. Suicide chooses suicide as the last solution not to endure pain, shame, hatred or look for alternative ways. Most suicides think many times before committing suicide. That is to say, they suffer from indecision before suicide. But in the end, they commit suicide. In such a situation, if someone gives his helping hand towards them or loves or tries to convince them that suicide is not a logical solution, then he/she returns from the path of suicide.
People who have been raped can be traumatized and develop posttraumatic stress disorder. Serious injuries can result in the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. A person may face violence or threats from the rapist, and, in some cultures, from the victim's family and relatives. Victims were socially insulted. Sometimes they are deprived of justice because of lack of appropriate evidence. So, victims are at high risk of suicide. If the rape case can be settled easily and quickly, the risk of suicide can be greatly reduced.
Besides, we can take some preventive measures to eliminate suicide from society. All religions discourage suicide. Therefore, the spread of religious education has to be increased. Suicide equipment should be kept as far away as possible. Many commit suicide because of a lack of awareness or proper counseling. Many commit suicide because of personal frustration or humiliation. Therefore, the importance of self-esteem in the prevention of suicide is immeasurable. It is possible to reduce the amount of suicide by establishing the rule of law. The importance of strengthening family and social bonds, love for children, avoiding negative attitudes, giving time to family members, eliminating unemployment are immense for the tendency of committing suicide.
