
Tanzir Tuhin, former frontman of the musical band 'Shironamhin', has got the copyright permission from High Court to sing Shironamhin's song. On an order released by High Court, It has been said that he along with his current band 'Avash' can practice and perform 49 songs of Shironamhin on stage. The decree will be reviewed after 6 months. A bench of Judge Mamunur Rahman and Judge Ashish Ranjan has released the decree on October 20. Tuhin's lawyer advocate Mizanur Rahman confirmed the news of the new decree.
Earlier, Zia Rahman, on behalf of the band 'Shironamhin', has filed a case at Lower Court claiming the copyright of 49 songs of the band. He is the former bandmate of Tanzir Tuhin and bassist of 'Shironamhin'. Another case is underway at High Court regarding the copyright issue of the songs. The hearing of this case was scheduled to take place on October 22. "An early order from High Court forbade Tanzir Tuhin from singing the songs of Shironamhin", Zia Rahman claimed.
Emerging singer Shiekh Ishtiaque has been assigned as the new vocalist of 'Shironamhin'. The band is planning to release a new album soon. The band has released several new songs like 'Jadukor', 'Bohemian', 'Barud Somudro', 'E Raate' and 'Ey Obelay' after the change in its lineup. On the other hand, Tanzir Tuhin is currently busy doing live concerts with his new band 'Avash'. The band 'Avash' is also working to release an album. They have already released a song named 'Avash' on their YouTube channel. The song has been widely admired by Bangladeshi music lovers.
