On February 21, 2004, on the occasion of International Mother Language Day, Shykh Seraj started his new television programme, popularly known as 'Hridoye Mati O Manush' on Channel i. From 2011, his YouTube channel started its journey. His verified Facebook page has more than 3.4 million followers. He is also active on other social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter etc. Shykh Seraj on achieving the award said, "It is great news for me. Thanks to all my subscribers. This is the time of transformation from the conventional to digital platforms. In future, I am planning to move towards OTT." Shykh Seraj has achieved country's highest civilian honours, Swadhinata Puroshkar, Ekushey Padak and also United Nation's FAO A.H. Boerma award for his effective development in journalism.
