The Holy twelveth day of Rabiul Awaal Re-visits the Earth in pomp & grandeur Permeating aroma & fragrance All the way from the doors of Heaven.
At the hour of dawn fifteen hundred years ago Angels in large numbers descended from Heaven; To celebrate the birth of Muhammad (PBUH) In gaiety & bonhomie.
Created from the essence of Noor (light) And shaped in human stature The child Muhammad (PHUH) enlightened; The lap of Mother Amina With heavenly refulgence & glows.
Angels sang chorus in full throated voice In praise of Muhammad (PBUS); When Muhammed (PBUS) equally gave his mellow voice In lilting cries from Mother Amina's gracious lap.
Muhammed's (PBUH) arrival shook the Arab lands That were sinking in the morass of absurdity; With radiating heats from blistering sands Heavy with burdens of sins; With ignorance of divine guidance Filled with symptoms of barbarity. Muhammad's (PBUS) arrival dispelled creeping darkness That overcast the skies of Arab lands; With air filled in poison and toxicity.
Muhammad (PBUS) was duly chosen by Allah As his messenger and anointed him with Heavenly crown; As Rahmat-ullil-al-Amin for mankind To kindle the light of truthfulness.
In his Farewell Sermon, Muhammad (PBUS) proclaimed: "Verily your blood, your property Are as sacred and inviolable; As the sacredness of this day of yours; In this town of yours; Behold! Everything pertaining To the Day of ignorance is under my feet Completely abolished, Abolished are also the blood revenges Of the Days of ignorance".
In his twenty three years of Prophet-ship Muhammad (PBUS) revolutionized the world; With the message of peace & tranquility; And built a grand house for faithful Where one and half billion Muslims Now live across the world; With unalloyed love for Muhammad (PBUS) Deeply ingrained forever in the hearts & souls.
With his unmitigated love & compassion Muhammad (PBUS) had extended his invitation; To mankind in its entirety To come and live under one roof of peace; For shaping a better world to live in.
In the eve of this august occasion Of Eid-e-Miladunnabi. Let us all join our voices in rhythm & melody With utmost devotion To Sheikh Saddi's praise for Muhammad (PBUS): "He attained exaltation by his perfection; He dispelled darkness by his beauty; Beauteous are all his qualities; Benediction be on him and on his family"
