I see you each time
with the same curiosity
that a teenage boy feels
touching his first grown beards.

I envision a tiny black point
between those bewitching
eyebrows and feel
the joy of death.

Your eyes being a cyclone
meet my desire to
drown drunk on a rainy night
into the ocean.

I've come to take shelter
in you, with a restless,
broken heart, but alas-
what's broken stays broken.
