Malek made info commissioner

The government has appointed former information secretary Abdul Malek as information commissioner with the status of senior secretary.
"The president made the appointment in accordance with section 15(1) and 17 of Right to Information Act, 2009," said a gazette notification on Thursday.
Malek retired from the Ministry of Information on Dec 30, 2019.
