ACCA BD certifies more than 100 financial experts

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Bangladesh has recently given certification to over hundred Financial Experts.
 A total of 122 people were given the certificate at a ceremony held at an elite hotel in Dhaka on Thursday, 1st February. Of these, ninety were ACCA members and thirty four were FCCA members, according to press release.
Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, and Summit Communication Managing Director Md. Arif Al Islam attended the event as the chief gust and guest of honour respectively.
ACCA Bangladesh Senior Business Development Manager Md. Shafaat Ali Choyon rendered a presentation titled 'Business Partner of the Future' in front of the guests at the beginning of the programme. Earlier ACCA Global Bangladesh Country Director Ahsanul Haque welcomed all the guests present.
As per every year, the `National Financial Advocacy Award-2019' has been awarded to two financial experts from ACCA Bangladesh. This year, Seezan M. Choudhury won as the winner and Mohsena Khanom as the runner-up.
 In addition, eight members of the Member Advisory Committee (MAC) were certified and special honorary crest were given to nine ACCA members as members of FRC Working Group, for their special contribution to the overall operation of ACCA Bangladesh.
In Bangladesh, ACCA has around 400 members along with 5000 students currently.
