Programmes of Dhaka Community Hospital Trust to prevent Corona Virus

Dhaka Community Hospital Trust started the awareness programme to prevent Corona Virus very extensively in Dhaka and outside of Dhaka. These are seminars, staffs training, continuous training program for visitors and community, arrangement of hand sanitizer & wash basin, closure of educational institutes, leave of aged staffs, providing community education in Dhaka and outside.  
In the meantime 25 seminars on Corona awareness completed. The target is to complete 40 seminars. About 3000 DCHT staffs are already trained on Corona preventive measures and training is going on to aware visitors and community people. Hospital is being cleaned more cautiously and hand sanitizer, wash basin are installed in every point of hospital such as entry point, OPD, meeting rooms, office entrance etc.
All DCHT educational institutes (medical college, nursing college & institutes) are closed and vulnerable staffs (above 60 years old) are given leave with pay upto 31st March, 2020.
The Medical doctors, internees, nursing students and local 200 community volunteers working for community education in Dhaka and outside.  30 Disaster Risk Management centers. Corona preventive leaflets has been distributed among urban & rural communities and preventive  campaign  in DCHT's 64 schools,26 garment industries & 150 private companies.
75 awareness programmes were completed in Hakimpara, Jamtoli & other Rohingya refugee camps in Cox'sbazar  and huge amount of  leaflets distributed in the areas.  Awareness flyers and leaflets also distributed in Pabna Community Hospital, & Other rural health centers in Pabna.
DCHT disaster risk reduction & health care centers in 30 locations in Bangladesh are working as resource centres for prevention of Corona virus with 7 local NGOs.
