'Osama VinLaden' plays in the Peruvian second tier and of course his name is as close as you can get to the deceased al-Qaeda leader, who was killed by US Navy Seals at a private compound in Pakistan in 2011.

We're not sure why you would choose to name your son after a terrorist but unfortunately this bizarre theme runs in the family. VinLaden's brother is named Saddam Hussein - after the former president of Iraq who was executed in 2006.

And if that's not bad enough, the father wanted to name the third child 'George Bush', the 41st president of the United States.

And if that's not bad enough, the father wanted to name the third child 'George Bush', the 41st president of the United States.

"I thought about changing my name but now I like it, it was fashionable in its day," he is quoted as saying.

"My brother's name is Saddam Hussein and my father wanted to put George Bush to the third child, but it was a girl."

Undoubtedly the best use of football names was when Michael Jackson replaced John Lennon over in Brazil. The two musical icons were also joined by Mahatma Gandhi in the side brimming with star quality.
