Honda launches fully Bangladesh-made motorcycles 'Dream 110'

Bangladesh Honda Private Limited (BHL), Honda's joint venture with Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC), has announced selling of cent percent Bangladesh-made motorcycles. At the same time, the company has manufactured and sold 200,000 motorcycles in the country.

The BHL on Wednesday unveiled its 'Honda Dream 110' model motorcycle built at its factory Abdul Monem Economic Zone, Char Baushia, Gazaria in Munshiganj.

The 'Honda Dream 110' model motorcycles have been brought in the market with the slogan 'Change the Speed of Life.'

The BHL's Managing Director and CEO Himihiko Katsuki, Senior Vice President Naresh Kumar Ratan, Director and Chief Production Officer Shoichi Sato and Head of Finance and Commercial Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman were present.

Officials said the 'Honda Dream 110' motorcycles have been designed and manufactured taking the Bangladeshi users' height, quality of roads, and socio-economic conditions into account. The motorcycles were
available in three different colours--Red, Black and Blue--at the Honda Exclusive Authorised Dealers' showrooms across the country at Tk 89,900 from Wednesday.

Apart from Honda-Eco technology, 110cc engines are used in the 'Honda Dream 110' motorcycles. The 'Dream 110' can cross 74km of roads on each liter of fuel.
