Minor girl run over by truck in Sherpur

A seven-year-old girl was killed in a road accident in Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur district on Thursday morning.

Deceased Subarna Akter was the daughter of Hossain Ali, a resident of Panchgaon village in the upazila.

Sources said the truck hit the girl while she was crossing a road at Panchgaon Bazar around 11:30am, leaving her dead on the spot.

Nalitabari Police Station officer in-charge Basir Ahmed confirmed the matter.
