The company unveiled the new Sony Xperia 1 III during its own live stream, and debuted alongside the new Xperia 5 III and Xperia 10 II.

The name of this handset may prove touchy but it is the latest device from the company and follows from Sony’s latest top Android phones Xperia 1 and Xperia 1 II.

Sony's Xperia 1 III isn't a huge change compared to its predecessor, but it does come with a few new features in part that might make you interested in purchasing your next smartphone. We've put together all the details you need about the next big Sony smartphone.

The Sony Xperia 1 III was released on April 14, 2021, but it is set to land worldwide at some point during the "early summer of 2021". It’s the Northern Hemisphere summer, which lasts from June to September we’ll probably guess it’s closer to June or July.
