Tigers' batting consultant Samaraweera in Dhaka

Tigers' newly appointed batting consultant for Afghanistan and England series Thilan Samaraweera arrived Dhaka from Australia on Saturday at 10:00am.
The former Sri Lanka batsman Samaraweera has been appointed as the batting consultant on September 2. He arrived in Dhaka just a day before resuming the Bangladesh cricket team training camp
following the Eid
vacation.
Head coach Chandika Hathurusingha and assistant coach Richard Halsall have already arrived Dhaka and pace bowling coach Courtney Walsh and strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayan are scheduled to arrive by Sunday.
Bangladesh will take on visiting Afghanistan on September 25 in the first ODI of the three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The remaining two ODIs will be played on September 28 and October 01.
England are scheduled to arrive here on September 30 and will stay until November 2 to play the Test and ODI series in Dhaka and Chittagong. The ODI series is scheduled to start on October 7, while the Test series on October 20.
