Miraz is exceptional: Rafique

It is known to all what Mehedi Hasan Miraz did trouncing England in the second Test. Legendary Bangladesh spinner Mohammad Rafique, who worked with Miraz closely, said the young boy is exceptional.
Bangladesh beat England by 108 runs where Miraz took 12 wickets in the match with his magical off-spin.
Talking to The Daily Observer Mohammad Rafique said, "Miraz did excellent job. He played his role. He is very young and it's just beginning. He has to go a long way."
The pioneer spinner praised the starting of Miraz and at the same time he gave the reminder that the young talent has to continue it.
He said, "The way he started is absolutely awesome. He played with confidence. But he needs to continue it. He has to play more in quality places."
"Many players of Bangladesh started well but failed to take in for long. It is important to carry the success of starting for career long. So he (Miraz) needs proper nurture to brighten his career more."
Rafique thinks Miraz should get the chance to enjoy the game before evaluating what he delivers.
"Let him play and enjoy the game. Let him play for at least one year we can discuss how much he improves. We have to give him the floor to explore himself," said Rafique.
He also requested to the media to not make him start with additional coverage.
He said, "I am requesting to the media to not create much hype about him. Let him play comfortably and the way he likes. Media made many players start at the beginning but many of them could not take the pressure and disappointed all."
Recently Mohammad Rafique worked in the BCB's High Performance (HP) Program as spin consultant. There he worked with Miraz closely. He said, he knew that Miraz would do better.
He said, "I work with Miraz for about one month under the HP camp. When I saw him I understood he would do better. He has the thrust of playing better and learning. His action and the way he delivers the ball are awesome. Seeing him to bowl I realised he would do better."
The legendry left-arm orthodox bowler, who has 100 Test wickets, also mentioned none of Bangladeshi can bowl like Miraz.
He said, "He (Miraz) is exceptional off-spinner. None in Bangladesh can bowl like him. I played in many countries. Australia and England used to have such off-spinner. But nowadays Miraz is the only one to bowl like that."
"He is brilliant with the top spin and he can do better in any type wicket in the world," he added.
Rafique also said he felt great to see Bangladesh defeat England. But at the same time he urged to keep the consistency and stick on the plan and process that brought the success.   
He said, "Of course I feel great to see Bangladesh win over England in Test. But we have to continue it and perform consistently. We have to stick on the plan that brought us success in the match. It will not be right to be so much satisfied with that win as we have to take the lesson from the win and keep the consistency."
