BFF bans BKSP for a year!

The disciplinary committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Sunday had banned Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP), also known as the cradle of local football, for a year for misconduct in the low-tier football leagues.

Some of the BKSP players were found playing for different clubs under false identity. They participated in the lower division leagues for different clubs hiding actual identities. The BKSP Football coaches Shahinul Haque and Rabiul Islam were also found guilty of being involved in helping with the crime.

The BFF disciplinary committee punished the two coaches by banning them from all kinds of Football activities for a year and fined them Taka 25,000 each.

Besides, the three players proven guilty of the crime were banned from playing for the BKSP for the next six months.

Ultimately, the BKSP was also banned by the governing body of local Football for a year. the BFF also fined the BKSP Taka 100,000 for the misconduct and was asked to pay it by the sixth of January.

Interestingly, only a few weeks ago, the BKSP football officials were criticising the BFF officials for selling BKSP Football players under the banner of the BFF Elite Academy.
