Farmer found dead in Natore

Police recovered the body of a farmer from Singra upazila in Natore district on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Anwar Hossain Anu, 45, son of Abdur Rahman, hailed from Hatlal  village under Nandigram upazila in Bogura district.
Quoting the deceased's family members and locals, Singra Police Station officer-in-charge Abul Kalam Azad said Anwar went to Belta village under Ramananda Khajura union in Singra upazila on Saturday afternoon and didn't returned home.

Later on Sunday morning, locals spotted the body of Anwar lying in their paddy field and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police are investing the death and the actual reason behind the death would be known after autopsy, added the OC.
