Trainee killed in Munshiganj road accident

A trainee was killed and three others were injured as a training car fell into a ditch in Taleshwar village under Sadar upazila in Munshiganj district on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Kawsar Ahmed, 25, son of Kamal Dhali, a resident of Katlapara village under Mahakali union of the upazila.
Quoting locals, Munshiganj Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Aminul Islam said the accident happened when Kawser was going to Taleshwar Bazar on the training car. On the way, he locst control over steering of the vehicle and fell into a roadside ditch at around 8 am, leaving him dead on the spot and three others injured.

The injured were taken to Munshiganj General Hospital where the physicians sent them to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for better treatment.

Later, the body was handed over to the family members upon their request, added the OC.
