20 BNP men jailed for two yrs in 2011 sabotage case

Twenty leaders and activists of opposition BNP have been jailed for two years under two separate sections in a sabotage case filed in 2011.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin pronounced the judgement on Tuesday.

The convicts have been fined Tk 2,000 each, in default, they will have to serve two months more in jail.

The case was filed with Ramna Police Station in September 2011. Later, police submitted the chargesheet after investigation.
