AL starts announcing election manifesto

Bangladesh Awami League has started announcing its election manifesto for the 12th parliamentary election with the slogan "Smart Bangladesh where development shines accelerating employment."

Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina is announcing and presenting the manifesto at a programme at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Wednesday.

Dr Abdur Razzaque, Awami League Manifesto Formulation Committee's convener, and Obaidul Quader, the party general secretary, delivered the welcome speech.
