Bangladesh reports 19 Covid cases in 24hrs

A total of 19 more people were infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) the death toll remained unchanged at 29,477 as no death was reported during the period.

A total of 820 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 2.32 per cent.

According to the release, the total number of recoveries till Thursday reached 4, 23,592.

Besides, the country's total number of coronavirus cases reached 20, 46,256.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
