Obituary

Manoj Dutta, a veteran journalist, passed away at the age of 70 in a hospital in the capital on Friday. The deceased had been suffering from old-age complications.

Dutta, born in Kamarkhali of Faridpur District, was a dedicated member of the Dhaka Journalist Union (DUJ) and BFUJ. He served in the editorial teams of Weekly Chitrali and Daily Destiny for many years, leaving an indelible mark in the field of journalism.

He is survived by a son and a daughter.
