CHATTOGRAM, Dec 30: Former Mayor of Chattogram, an independent candidate in Ctg-10, campaigned throughout the day on Saturday.
He is in the contest with Cauliflower as his symbol.
He exchanged greetings with people after offering Asr prayers at the Badam Tal Jama Masjid at Agrabad in the port city.
He campaign at Sheikh Mujib Road and performed zearat of Syed Mansoor Ali Shahs mazar.
Later, he addressed roadside meeting and exchanged of views with residents of Maulvi Para, Chariyapara, Hajipara and Panwala Para in North Agrabad Ward at the godown ground on Chaumuhani Halishahar Road.
Monjur said, "Drinking water shortage will be solved in his constituency, new educational institutions will be established oxygen provided to poor patients."
He said that street lights will be provided the drainage system and infrastructure will be renovated. "I dedicated myself to disaster relief for 30 years. If elected, I will provide better service," he added.
