The ferry movement on the Paturia-Daulatdia route has returned to normal after being closed for nine hours due to dense fog.

BIWTC authorities confirmed that the ferry movement resumed on the route on Wednesday at around 8:30 am.
Earlier, BIWTC authorities shut the ferry movement for dense fog to avoid accidents around 11:30 pm on Tuesday. When the ferry movement was stopped, four ferries anchored with passengers and vehicles in the middle of the river.

Later, ferry movement was normalized around 8:30 am as the fog density was reduced in the river. The ferries stuck in the middle river reached the shore and unloaded passengers and vehicles.
