AL, Hindu-Christian community leaders demand punishment of mastermind

Ruling Awami League and Hindu-Christian Community leaders on Tuesday demanded punishment of mastermind of post polls violence  in Bagerhat-3 constituency.

They raised the demand at a press conference at Humayun Kabir Balu Auditorium of Khulna Press Club,
In a written statement, Freedom Fighter Anthony Ramesh Halder member of Mongla upazila Muktijoddha Command Council demanded legal action against so called Freedom Fighter Keshoblal and his associates who are creating riot and anti social activities in the Hindu community in Bagerhat.
He said that Keshab was making propaganda against Awami League and the Hindu community.
 
Ramesh Halder said, people of Mongla including women recently formed a human chain against Ekram Ezarder, Chairman of Sundarbon Union Parishad for his controversial speech against women leadership.

The written statement said, as our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury are women leaders of our country, his controversial speech hurt womens  dignity and honour.

Present, among others were, freedom fighter Zugal Halder, Promangsu Roy, Sunil Kumar Biswas, Mihir Vandari, Rabindranath Mondal, Bidhan Majumder, Pritish Halder, Sujata Mondal, Anadhi Roy.
