The Twelfth National Parliamentary elections of Bangladesh held peacefully on January Seventh last, defying all sorts of anti-elections external internal conspires and propaganda, terrorism killings, destructions anarchism and vandalism, committed by a failed, futile well-coordinated strategies of the BNP-Jamat alliances. These elections were an acid test for the countrys National Elections Commission (NEC) as well as for the interim Government in power, tasked with formidable responsibilities in upholding the Constitutional Articles of mandatory provisions of holding the National Parliamentary Elections on time. Other than few incidents countrywide, the EC in collaboration with the governmental agencies and components protected the rights of the people to participate in the electoral process in a peaceful and safe environment. The EC enabled and facilitated the voters, to cast their votes with greater enthusiasm in a peaceful, secured congenial atmosphere in a festive mood nationwide.

The elections held amid multiple killings, terrorism, sabotages and facing all sorts of anti-elections mechanisms, adopted and resorted by the BNP-JAMAT alliances. Their countrywide carnages of brutal sabotages killings, anarchism, and massive vandalism since 28th October, 2023 ended without any fruitful results or achievements; rather they remained out of the reaches of the people, fearing dire befitting consequences on the elections day and afterwards.

However, it was not the jobs or businesses neither of the Bangladesh Elections Commission nor the Government, to invite and compel any political party to participate in the elections. The doors were open to the entire NEC registered interested political parties concerned, to come forward and participate in the elections as per the Constitution of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. These countries actually supported and condoned the anti-social criminal acts of killings, anarchism, terrorism and vandalism committed by those elections abstained parties of BNP- JAMAT, dishonouring and disregarding the spirits of the democratic, peace loving people of Bangladesh, who went to the polling centres spontaneously with great enthusiasm, facing no intimidation, or forceful persuasions or influences from the parties participated in this elections.
