The presence of Mashrafi Bin Mortaza in the field is inspiring rather than his performance, said Sylhet Strikers batter Zakir Hasan.

He said this while talking to journalists on Sunday ahead of the match against Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Mashrafe is leading Sylhet following the previous edition with pain in his leg. The team suffered a defeat against Chattogram Challengers in their first game on Friday where Mashrafe got one wicket conceding 25 runs in 2.3 overs. Even though Zakir thinks that Mashrafe's presence is important for the team.

He said, "Actually, the presence of Mashrafe Bhai (Mashrafe Bin Mortaza) is inspiring for the team rather than his performance. It appears to me that many of the decisions become easy when he remains with us. So it's important for us."
