Cold-hit people get blankets in three districts

Blankets were distributed among the cold-hit poor people in three districts- Dinajpur, Natore and Bhola, on Sunday and Monday.
DINAJPUR: Blankets were distributed among more than 200 cold-hit destitute people in the district on Monday.

ACI Crop Care Formulation Limited organized the distribution programme at Kamalpur Haat in Sadar Upazila.
Dinajpur Regional Sales Manager of ACI Crop Care Formulation Limited Md Abdul Baki was present as the chief guest while its Distributor Md Abul Kalam presided over the programme.

Territory Manager Md Anjerul Islam and Sales Promotion Officer Pritam Roy Polash, among others, were also present there.
   
NATORE: About 20,000 blankets were distributed among the helpless people in Singra Upazila of the district on Sunday.

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the distribution programme at around 10 am at his residence.

Singra Upazila Awami League President Sheikh Ohidur Rahman, its General Secretary (GS) and Singra Municipality Mayor Jannatul Ferdous, Joint GS Ruhul Amin and Chairmen of 12 union parishads also attended the blanket distribution programme.

LALMOHAN, BHOLA: Blankets were given to 1,000 cold-hit destitute people in Lalmohan Upazila of the district on Sunday.

Lalmohan Municipality Mayor Hazi Emdadul Islam Tuhin distributed the blankets among the needy people on the municipal office premises in the morning.

Lalmohan Municipality Panel Mayor Md Saiful Kabir and Councillor of Ward No. 7 Md Jahidul Islam Nabin, among others, were also present during the distribution.
