85 Bangladeshis held in Malaysia

A total of 85 Bangladeshis were detained in separate drives in Malaysia on Wednesday for various immigration-related offenses, according to Malaysian media.

The detained Bangladeshis, who went there in purpose of work, were undocumented, reports The Star.
In yesterday's operation, 91 of the 110 foreigners detained were men, said Kennith Tan Aik Kiang, state director at Malaysia Immigration Department.

The department has been conducting regular operations against undocumented foreigners, he added.
