Rotary Club of Rajshahi Metropolitan arranged memorial and posthumous award program for renowned vocalist of the subcontinent Andrew Kishore. Andrew Kishore's sister Past President of Rotary Club of Metropolitan Shikha Biswas accepted the award on behalf of Andrew Kishore.
Andrew Kishore, who passed away on July 6 in 2020 at the age of 64, is considered as the "Playback King" of Bangladesh music industry who sang more than 15 thousands songs. His soulful voice and versatile singing style contributed to numerous hit songs, making him a beloved artist among audiences in Bangladesh and beyond. He was particularly known for his contributions to the Bangladeshi film industry, where his songs left an indelible mark.
