DMP imposes road restrictions 

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed some restrictions to maintain peace and security around the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) as the 12th Jatiya Sangsads maiden session begins on Tuesday. The restriction will come into effect from midnight on Monday, a release of the DMP said.

Under the restrictions carrying of firearms, explosive items and other harmful substances will remain strictly prohibited in the area. Side by side restrictions were imposed on holding any type of rallies, processions and protest meetings.
