Devotees start gathering on Ijtema ground

The first phase of Bishwa Ijtema is going to start on the bank of the Turag River at Tongi on February 2.

Devotees from home and abroad have already began to gather on the Ijtema ground. They were seen reached there by buses, trucks, pickup vans.

The first phase of Ijtema will end on February 4 with Akheri Munajat (final prayers).
Devotees have been asked to cooperate with members of the law enforcement agencies deployed for security on the Ijtema ground and seek cooperation if needed, according to a press release from police headquarters.

With the participation of the supporters of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi, the second phase of the Ijtema will be held at the same venue from February 9 to February 11.
